Rev. Reindolph Oduro Gyebi popularly known as eagle prophet of God’s Crown Chapel fame has strangely revealed that should the black stars team be given to former head coach Kwesi Appiah with his name sake Stephen Appiah as an assistant, they’re going to win the world cup.
Speaking on the legendary show, which dubbed “Time with Akwafo on silver 98.3 fm Kumasi, the most talked about man of God, on his assertion on recent black stars saga, as was quized by legendary Francis Akwafo in view of a proper replacement for CK Akonnor following his recent sacking as the stars head coach, the prophet suggested Kwesi Appiah together with Stephen Appiah to take the country to the promised land.
“He said, our current black stars team should be given to James Kwesi Appiah together with Stephen Appiah as an assistant, they will lead Ghana to win the world cup. This am not saying from the normal point of view but am speaking from the realms of the spirit, that should the team be given to the duo, they will bring back the cup home. I speak as a prophet, he stressed”.
The prophet has recently being lampooned through to his doomed prophecies regarding some known celebrities such as Lydia forson, Akuapem poloo and Shatta wale both from the entertainment industry.
Nonetheless, should James Kwesi Appiah be given the nod to lead the stars, it will be the third time of his appointment as a head coach. Recall he was the head coach for the black stars back in 2012-2014 where Ghana could qualify for the Brazil 2014 world cup whiles stephen Appiah was the captain of the side as well as being captain for the country’s debut world in 2006 and in south africa 2010.
Following He’ Akwasi Appiah’s unconvincing run for the 14 world cup he resigned from his post reasons best known to him. However, in that same year,he was appointed as manager for sudanese club Al Khartoum. Eventually, in april 2017, he was reappointed as head coach for the black stars following the exit of ex Chelsea boss Avram Grant and then was sacked back in 2020 paving way for CK Akonnor.
