“You will all see a different Sea Lions in the second round” Coach Richard of Sea Lions

The first round of Ghana women’s premier league didn’t go well for Sea Lions this season. They started the season by drawing their first five (5) games and lost two consecutive matches.

The only match they won in the first round was week eight (8) against Army Ladies at home.

Their final game in the first round ended in a defeat away to Police Ladies. After the match, the head coach [Richard] told the press the fans should expect a different Sea Lions side in the second round of the season.

Coach Richard believes he has done some recruitment that can help the team turn things around in the second round.

“In the second round, you will all see Sea Lions different. We have some of the players that their cards are not ready yet so before the second round of the season will start they will definitely get their cards” Coach Richard assured his fans.

Sea Lions are currently seating ninth and in the relegation zone with 8 points in the first round.
