Asante Kotoko on the verge of losing defender

Kumasi Asante are on the verge of losing their dependable right back due to a rejected transfer fee they offered for a permanent switch from Attram De’Visser Soccer Academy.

According Kumasi based radio station Oyerepa FM, both Christopher Nettey’s parent club Attram De’Visser Soccer Academy and the Asante Kotoko management team haven’t agreed on a the transfer fee for the player even though a purported $35,000 was agreed earlier before Christopher Netttey joining the porcupine warriors on loan.

The chairman of Asante Kotoko forked out GH35,000 for the in-form defender for him to join the porcupine warriors permanently due to his impressive performance but was rejected by the chairman of Christpher Nettey’s parent club.

According to the former Accra Great Olympics player and coach, the initial deal that was agreed before the player joining Asante Kotoko was $35,000 for three years but Dr. Kwame Kyei has refused to pay because only GH35,000 was communicated to him.

The Ghana Black Stars player poured out his frustration on Oyerepa FM saying “I will talk at the right time. You can ask the Kotoko people when the time is right I will come out but they should know that the player had gotten exposure before he joined Kotoko, he traveled outside which earned him a national team call-up,”

He also added by saying he might be tempted to recall Christopher Nettey who has been key in Asante Kotoko’s fantastic form.
