“We didn’t exceed our target or my personal target but we’ve achieved our target” Coach Norbert of Army ladies

The last match in the first round of the Ghana women’s premier league has come to an end successful as scheduled by the league organizers.

Army Ladies clash with their sisters and that was the last game in the first round of the season.

The Service derby ended in a win for the host team Army Ladies which means the visitors ended the first round of the season without a win.

Zinatu Alhassan with a lovely strike to put Army ladies in front on the 63rd minutes and that was the only goal that make the difference.

After the match, the head coach of Army Ladies told the press they have achieved their target.

“We didn’t exceed our target or my personal target we have for the team when I join the team after the first three (3) games, I have to thank the team and my players for giving their best, we’re still gelling, we’re still trying to pick our momentum” coach Norbert of Army Ladies.

Army started the season on a very bad note by losing all their first four games and conceding 13 goals. They are currently 6th on the league table in the Southern zone sharing the same points with Faith Ladies and Police Ladies.

Immigration Ladies on the other hands have nothing to write home about in the first round.

They [Immigration] are yet to win a game this season, they’ve lost 5 games and drawn 4 gaining 4 points in the first round.

They are last on the league table at the end of the first round.
