WAFA secure first win in 4 games to move out of relegation zone

 

West African Football Academy have moved out of the relegation zone, following a 1-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars in week 15 of the 21/22 Ghana Premier League.

After drawing all of their last three games in the league, WAFA found themselves in 17th position and needed a win to change that.

The Sogakope boys were up to the task as they scored an early goal to secure a win over Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday afternoon.

John Tedeku was the hero of the afternoon after heading home a cross from Justus Torsutsey to give WAFA all three points.

By virtue of the win, WAFA recorded their first win in four games while moving to 14th place with 17 points in the league.

For the visitors, Bibiani Gold Stars, they have dropped drown on the table and just one place away from the relegation zone.
