Video: Rejuvenated Soccer Academy message on covid-19 to Ghanaians

Sekondi/Takoradi based soccer academy known as Rejuvenated Soccer Academy have done a video sending a heart warming message to Ghanaians and the frontline workers in this covid-19 pandemic.




Coronavirus are a bevy of large viruses mostly common among animals. Scientists, refers to it as zoonotic meaning, they can be transmitted from animals to humans. Studies have shown that, it’s a precarious diseases with an incubation period of 4-6 days. It’s known to be fatal precisely among those with weak immune system; with no mercy for the young and the aged. The transmission mode of this virus is mainly, human-to-animal and human-to-human contacts. The human-to-human contact occurs when someone come into contact with an infected person through the following actions: coughing, sneezing, handshake, touching of infected surfaces and extending them to your mouth, nose or eyes. Infected persons exhibits these signs and symptoms; fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat and headache.

Global statistics prove that currently, there are 5, 268, 582 confirmed cases, 338, 101 deaths and 2, 128, 607 recoveries, which represent 6.42% and 40.40% respectively. With reference to Africa CDC statistics, there are 100, 45 total confirmed cases with 39, 481 recoveries and 3, 103 death cases.Ghana has recorded a total of 6,486 confirmed cases, 31 deaths and 1,951 recoveries. Currently, Western Region has recorded 195 cases which is very alarming. This is confirmed statistically by the Ghana Health Service.

To all the health care providers and all our compassionate leaders, especially, the first gentleman of the nation H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo- Addo being a great warrior in our fight against this pandemic, we appreciate your selflessness. He once said, “we know how to bring the economy back to life. What we don’t know is, how to bring the people back to life.” Thus deploying critical measures and protocols to ensure our safety.

Rejuvenated Soccer Academy as a part of the football body in Ghana, we really appreciate the sacrifices and the endless efforts of our frontliners, central workers, Government and Its officials, stakeholders, the Media and Mobile Network Operators for their diverse outstanding work to free the entire country from this pandemic.

We are of much confidence that, when we sternly adhere to the protocols deployed by the government and it’s officials, we will push through this difficult times together with God being our utmost helper.
