There have been a lot of changes at Dreams FC after i took over  – Coach Ignatius Fosu

Head coach of Dreams FC Ignatius Fosu Osei has said that his side Dreams FC has seen a lot of uplifting after he took over few weeks ago.

According to Fosu Osei, even though he has not been with the Dawu based club for long, there have been many changes and hopes for more in their remaining games for the season after their disappointing 3:2 defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra sports stadium.

“ I have been  with Dreams  FC for only two weeks and you can see a whole lot of changes have occurred, it’s a new phase we are building”, he told reporters after the game.

Speaking on Issah Ibrahim’s red card, Coach Ignatius revealed that it was the turning point for the Phobians in their victory over them.

“The Res card was a turning point because we knew from 60th min they’d be gone. They [Hearts of Oak] tried to inject some pace but couldn’t. They changed all 3 midfielders, it still didn’t work. So, if we had all 11 players, we could’ve beaten them.”

Three goals from Benjamin Yorke, Daniel Afriyie Barnie and Suraj Seidu ensured that Samuel Boadu reaches his second consecutive MTN FA Cup final.
Sylvester Simba’s opener in the 4th minute and  Kwaku Kakari’ 79th minute goals weren’t enough as Dreams FC MTN FA Cup journey comes to an end.

Accra Hearts of Oak will await the winner of the game between Bechem United and Aduana Stars tomorrow for the finals of the  2021/2022 MTN FA Cup.
