Solomon Owusu of Ghana is dismissed after Odd BK falls to Rosenborg in Norway.

When Rosenborg BK defeated Odd BK on Sunday in the Norwegian Eliteserien, Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Owusu received a red card.

At the Lerkendal Stadium in Trondheim, the matchday 16 match between Odd and Rosenborg resulted in Solomon’s red card as Odd blew a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 to Rosenborg.

This season, Solomon has made 17 appearances in the Norwegian Eliteserien and has contributed two assists.

Ole Midtskogen, a forward for Odd, scored in the second minute to give them the lead in the game. Mikael Ingebrigsten extended their lead after eight minutes of play.

Two minutes after the break, Rosenborg’s Norwegian attacker Ole Saeter drew one back before tying the score on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.

Two minutes later, a cynical tackle by the 27-year-old Ghanaian midfielder resulted in his being given the boot and was sent off.

Moments later, Rosenborg completed their incredible comeback when defender Ulrik Jenssen gained possession of the ball in front of the goal.
