Salisu talks about his favorite position and role in an interview

Mohammed Salisu’s Southampton suffered a relegation last season and due to this, the club has been forced to sell some players on high wages.

Monaco showed interest in Salisu and signed him weeks ago. Now, Salisu in an interview revealed his favorite position he can play to help the team coming next season.

Adaptation is key for the Ghanaian defender. Ghanaians are aiming to see good performances from the player in the French league 1.

This is what Salisu said in an interview regarding his favorite position on the field of play;

We have a really talented young team. During the presentation, he remarked, “I have to concentrate on the journey, but I am working very hard in the gym and in training to be ready and to be back.”

“I frequently play on the left side and am also at ease in the middle. I’m fine with playing both, he continued.

Salisu has been sidelined due to injury since his last appearance in a competitive game for Southampton in March. He’s missed crucial Black Stars games in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers as a result.
