The French tactician, Romain Folz landed in Ghana Sunday night via France Air to take over Ashantigold SC as the head coach of the club.
He previously worked with Bechem United but now comes in to
replace Serbian coach Milovan Cirkovic who parted ways with the club due to ill health.
Romain Folz had stints with French Ligue 2 side Chamois Niortais FC, Pyramids FC in Egypt and the Uganda national team.
He joins the miners for 2 years.
AshantiGold are 10th on the league log with 22 points from 17 matches in the first round of the season.
