Performance of referees in the Ghana Premier League is porous and incongruous. Deputy NCC PRO laments

The Deputy National Chapters committee PRO of Accra Hearts of oak in an interview with Time FM disclosed that the match officials in the ongoing Ghana Premier League is very poor.
“It took the intervention of the referee for Aduana stars to get a point against Accra Hearts of oak.

The match officials must revise their books and go according to rules of the game. It is high time they stop that abysmal performance that they are exhibiting. Their performance on the field is porous and incongruous and it is not helping the league.

They should apply the rules and stop the bias refereeing. You don’t come to match venues with your own results.
The referees intentionally want to weaken the Hearts of oak team. This same referee ( Eso Doh Morrison) officiated our match against Dreams FC and gave Nuru Sule a red card and he did same thing again Aduana stars.

Hearts of oak had a penalty when Daniel Afriyie Barnie was fouled in the box. It was a clear penalty but they deliberately ignored it and awarded a dubious penalty to Aduana.
It is early days yet but if referees are not performing, you need to pin point it to them.
Clearly you could see they the favouring some teams.

In the match Between Asante Kotoko and Bechem United, Kotoko’s captain Abdul Ganiyu Ismail gave a career threatening tackle on Bechem United player which he should have been sent off but the referees stubbornly ignored it.

In another scenario, Richard Boadu handled the ball in their penalty box in the match against Bibiani Goldstars which should have been a penalty against Kotoko but it was bluntly ignored.

In the absence of the VAR, some decisions are very difficult to make but they should be fair to all the clubs. They should revise their noted very well so that their actions and inactions doesn’t affect the outcome of the games.
