“Our ladies deserves at least 700gh after every month” – WPL Chairperson pleads with club owners

The Chairperson of the Ghana women premier league, Madam Hillary Boateng has called on club owners to try their best in terms of financial packages given to the female players at the end of the month.

Speaking on Angel TV on Saturday morning, Madam Hillary Boateng pleaded that clubs try to seek for sponsorships so that the financial burdens will be lessened.

“They should try and seek for sponsorship individually to help boost the salary aspect as the board also tries to get a headline sponsor”
“We know club administrators are trying their best to cater for our ladies as some are sponsoring their education but i think we can do more”
“I know we are in hard times but 1000gh or 700gh won’t be bad for our girls at the end of every month”, she told TV.

Madam Hillary again called on referees to improve in their game to calm nerves at the various matches centres.

“They’ve come a long way and they are improving.
Those who needs to inprove should because any wrong move would go a long way to affect the game.”

“I plead with our supporters to remain calm with officiating when things go wrong, however our referees should also be up and doing”
