Official: Henry Asante Twum appointed as GFA communications director

The Ghana football association being led by former Dreams FC director Kurt E.S Okraku has appointed former director of communications for Dreams FC and Tema Youth FC as their head of communications.

Henry Asante who has over 15 years experience in media and communications related activities was formerly with Tema Youth Fc before moving to Ghana premier league side Dreams FC.

Mr Henry Asante in the mainstream media, was also the group head of sports at EIB network and also worked with other notable media outlets such as Radio XYZ, Power FM and Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.

With his vast knowledge and flair in sports commentary, he was appointed by ESPN/FOX as a commentator for the 2019 WAFU tournament in Senegal. He is also known for his scintillating commentary on the Ghana Premier league over the past decade.

Henry Asante Twum who will now be the official mouthpiece of the Ghana football association and handle all communication related issues replaced acting communications director Tamimu Issah who resigned during the week.
