Hearts Of Oak cruise to victory as they bulldoze their way over energetic Guinean side CI Kamsar in a one off game at the Accra sports stadium this afternoon in the Caf Champions league preliminary encounter.
Thanks to second half goals by Kofi Kodzi and Salim Adams as the Phobians emerged 2-0 victors over Kamsar once the center refree blowned his final whistle to the closure of the game.
The match as it were anticipated,was a caggy one since the blast of whistle where the Guinean side were the first to kickstart game whiles the famous club defended from the osu end of the pitch.
Apparently, first 45’mins of the game was a din don battle between both side especially in mildfield where Caleb Amankwah was there to marshall the heart of play along side Emmanuel Nertey and Ansah Botwe with little indications of threat for goals except an excellent turn by Isaac Mensah in the box of Kamsar on the 24’mins but eventually his strike was dealt with by the Guinean goalkeeper.

Come into the second stage was Hearts Of Oak who kept probing for the opener once Kamsar decided to sit back and defend in the half yet the opener seemed far from coming though the famous club on two occasions kissed the back of the net but was ruled offside.
Until tactical, magical samuel Boadu decided to make changes that saw players such as Emmanuel Nertey made way for Enoch Esubonteng whiles Agyenim Boateng came in for Isaac Mensah, yet Ansah Botwe making way for Kofi Kodzi and finally Salifu Ibrahim sitting for Salim Adams.
Joyfully for the mighty Oak team, they got the opener on the 80’mins when Barnie was brought down rightly behind the eighteen yard box of Kamsar and Kofi Kodzi sloted home and exquisite finish making it 1-0 for the continental club masters.
Eventually, the victory of the Phobians was climax on the 90+3 additional minutes where former new Edubiase young chab “Salim Adams” got the whole Accra sports stadium erupted with an excellent screamer to get the job done for the Phobians and till the final whistle of refree to draw the curtains down was Hearts Of Oak 2-0 CI Kamsar.
Hearts Of Oak subsequently in their next game still in the Caf club Championships will have to see off Morrocan giant Wac before they could map up to the group stage of the competition.
Though notwithstanding, they would still have the opportunity to play in the confederation cup should they even chock a defeat against Wac of Morroco.
