Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus took to Twitter to express his pride in fellow countryman Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who was crowned Leicester City’s Men’s Young Player of the Season.

”What a player and what a season! Proud watching you 🇬🇭♥️,” Kudus wrote, highlighting Issahaku’s impressive campaign.

The 20-year-old winger has been a revelation for Leicester this season. He has racked up an impressive 7 goals and 13 assists across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in the Foxes’ dominant Championship campaign. Issahaku’s contributions helped Leicester secure the Championship title with a game remaining and achieve promotion back to the Premier League.

Issahaku, who joined Leicester from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2023, has seamlessly adapted to English football. He will get one final chance to add to his impressive stats when Leicester take on Blackburn Rovers on May 4 in their final Championship match of the season.
