Karela United Set New Target After Confirming Eight New Signings.

Ghana Premier League side Karela United has set a new target following the signing of eight new players and the appointments of Evans Adotey and Malam Yaya who will be leading the technical team.

On Thursday, April 16th, 2020, Karela confirmed loan deals for Kingsley Osei Effah and Evans Owusu have joined from Kotoko till the end of the season.

Umar Abdul Basit, Thomas Gyawu, Richard Berko, Umar Bashiru, Lawrence Owusu and  Benneth Ofori Ansu have all joined the club.

” Our target is to finish in a respectable position, that is what we are focusing on with these signings. We need to bring the Karela of old.” Communication head Nii Armah revealed in an interview with Takoradi based Spice 91.9 FM.

“If the league was to be in this situation three years back, Karela would have been in the top three, that is the Kerela of old and that is where we want to be..” he added. He added.

Karela United is currently in 17th position with 11 points after 15 games and will be hoping to achieve a greater part of their target when football returns.
