President of the Cameroonian Football Federation Samuel Eto’o has applauded the Super Eagles for winning against Egypt and Sudan and making it to the next round of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria joined hosts Cameroon and North African giants Morocco as the only teams to have won their first two matches, thereby qualifying for the knockout stage with a game to spare.
The former Barcelona star took on social media handle to congratulate the super eagles for progressing to the next stage of the African cup tournament.
“Well done Super Eagles for securing your second victory and moving on to the knockout stage,” Eto’o wrote on his official page.
