Inkoom Wishes Konadu Yiadom Success in New Ukrainian Football Adventure

Hearts of Oak’s talented defender, Samuel Inkoom, has sent his heartfelt wishes to Konadu Yiadom as he embarks on an exciting new journey with Ukrainian side Kryvbas Football Club.

The Phobians made the announcement of Yiadom’s transfer to the Ukrainian Premier League team on Wednesday, marking the end of a single but eventful season with the Black Galaxies center-back, who is expected to return after his stint abroad.

Having shared the pitch with the former WAFA defender in numerous matches last season, Inkoom took to Facebook to express his admiration and support. He praised Yiadom’s efforts and acknowledged the young player’s immense potential, expressing his anticipation to witness it flourish in his new team.

“I knew from the very first day I saw you in training that you had immense potential, and with dedication and hard work, you’re destined for greatness,” Inkoom wrote.

“May this new milestone unlock the incredible talent within you, my boy. Go out there and make me proud.”

At the outset of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, Konadu Yiadom joined Hearts of Oak from West Africa Football Academy (WAFA). Despite his young age of 23, he made a notable impact, featuring in 18 league games and netting one goal.

Yiadom’s scoring prowess was not limited to the league, as he also secured the crucial goal in Hearts of Oak’s 1-0 triumph over AS Real de Bamako during the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. He further etched his name in Phobians’ history by bagging the lone goal in their victorious 2023 President’s Cup clash against Asante Kotoko.

Despite his achievements, some critics pointed out that Yiadom’s performances didn’t always replicate the forceful and commanding displays he demonstrated during his time at WAFA.

As Konadu Yiadom sets foot on Ukrainian soil, the footballing world eagerly awaits the blossoming of this talented defender’s potential. Hearts of Oak supporters will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on his progress, hoping to witness their young star shine on the international stage.
