Hearts player turned away by hospital because Club owes them

Hearts of Oak’s Nigerien defensive midfielder was this morning turned away from Blue Valley Specialist Medical Center because the club owes the health facility.

The Nigerien has been injured for 9 weeks now and was asked by officials of the club to seek medical attention with the health facility.

“One board member called me that today I have to go to the hospital with the club’s physio”

“We got there at 6am but when the doctor arrived we were told it’s not possible to see the doctor because Hearts of Oak have to pay him some money so he can’t do anything for us” Lawali recounted to Oyerepa FM/TV

“The doctor’s assistant says they have told Alhaji Akanbi about the situation that they don’t work for free so Hearts of Oak has to pay him some money. This is my third time of visiting that hospital” he added

“We waited for 3 hours and had to come back “

Mamane Lawali and his agent have since resolved to ask for termination of Contract and seek redress with the Ghana Football Association asking for the $10000 remainder on the players contract and also $1,500,000 for negligence and injury claims.

“This is because the player might not be able to play ,its a 50-50 thing” Samuel Joel-Atolagbe agent of the player also told OYEREPA FM/TV.
