HEARTS OF OAK ELIMINATION GOES BEYOND PERFORMANCE – COACH ASARE BEDIAKO.

Team Accra Hearts of Oak touched down in the country at the blind side of many ghanaians on friday midnight after they have been eradicated from the CAF confederation Cup.

The phobians who had a very poor campaign in this season’s Africa after they got annihilated by Morrocan giants Wydad Casablanca in a 6-2 aggregate Who where later dropped to confederation Cup.

Many thought that, Hearts of Oak could turn things around this time around after been paired with JS Saoura of Algeria in the playoff round in the Confederation cup.

Their dream of qualify to the group stage of the Confederation cup hits the rock after the were deleted by JS Saoura in a 4-2 aggregate in Algeria.

Last season ghana premier league winners are yet to win a game this season in the local competition.

Former gaffer, Asare Bediako,who is now the coach of Dormaa Based Aduana Stars has revealed that,the mediocre performance of Accra Hearts of Oak which got them eliminated is beyond control.

In an interview with Akoma FM, coach Asare Bediako states that,

“I disagree with the assertion that,Hearts of Oak elimination is the low standard of our league”.

“Last two years, kotoko made it into the money zone,even at that time,our league has no sponsors, the situation at that point remains currently the same”. He added.

He continued by saying that, “the way our teams are managed is also a problem, our economy is a factor,finances are scarce”.

“A coach will be working without a video analyst who plays a major role in today’s game. Our counterparts in the north have all the personnel needed by a professional football team at their disposal making their work easier”.

” I think Hearts elimination goes beyond performance. Other factors like finance,personnel, etc contributed to it”. He ended.

Accra Hearts of Oak are currently at the bottom of the table with three outstanding matches after going four games without a win.
