Goldstars CEO bow before two goal hero Emmanuel Appau, dash him €50 after Legon Cities win

 

The Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kwasi Adu, had to bow before two goal hero Emmanuel Appau to present the Man of the Match award after his scintillating performance against Legon Cities.

The youngster bagged brace to propelled Bibiani Goldstars to come from a goal down to defeat the Royals 2-1 on match-week 14 fixture at the Dun’s Park on Sunday afternoon.

The victory ended their winless streak in the ongoing 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

Striker Osman Amadu shot Legon Cities into the lead with a good finish just before the break.

After recess, the Gye Nyame Boys upped their game and in the 70th minute, Emmanuel Appau made amends for his first-half miss by scoring the equalizer.

He once again scored the winning goal on the 77th minute to bring Bibiani Goldstars back to the winning ways.

The win take Bibiani Goldstars to 12 on the League standings.

Goldstars will travel to Sogakope and face WAFA in matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
