“Ghanaian players are ready to play in hell so long as there is a good offer” – Ex Kotoko captain, Joe Hendricks

Former Ghanaian international Joseph Hendricks has said that many Ghanaian players are willing to play through the thicks so long as there is a good offer.
According to the former Asante Kotoko skipper, most of these youngsters are ready to play in countries with dangerous situations as long as they earn something decent at the end of the month.

“New faces in the GPL seasons is as a result of  lack of sponsorship, players need to play at least 6 seasons before they leave. But because of the current situations if a good  offer from HELL comes the players will leave”, Joe Hendricks told Onua sports.

Joe Hendricks further revealed that it will be very difficult to make impacts in the African inter-club competitions if you don’t make quality recruitments.

“To make a good  impact in the CAF Champions League you need top-quality materials because you can not match $20k dollars player and that of $100k players”.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak will return to Africa for the first time in a while to conpete in the CAF Champions league and the Confederations cup respectively.

The 45-year old in his prime was touted as one of the best defenders in Ghana where he had the chance to play for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
