GFA President Kurt Okraku reveals decision on Milo’s future

The future of under-fire Black Stars Coach Milovan Rajevac is up in the air following the latest comments by the President of the Ghana Football Association.

Ghana finished an embarrassing 4th position in their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations group. In the company of Morocco, Gabon and Comoros, the Black Stars picked up just a point from 3 games. The nadir of Ghana’s abject showing was a humiliating defeat to lowly Comoros on Tuesday; a result that has made Ghanaians furious with all that has played out in Cameroon.

The development has led to increasing calls for the head of Head Coach Milovan Rajevac.

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E. S. Okraku in an interview with Asempa FM, refused to be drawn on stating specifics about the Coach when quizzed about what happens next.

Kurt Okraku believes there should be calm in the idst of the storm and proper steps taken about the future of national teams when the dust finally settles.

“As a leader of this family, I take responsibility. We’ve owned up to the performance of the team. We’ve just come back, it is important we all calm down. We need cool heads so that we look inside us and find out how to fix the problems inside our national teams,” he told Asempa FM

“It is time for everyone to calm down so we scientifically analyze the campaign and we take the necessary steps forward,” he concluded.
