Five (5) Things Coach Samuel Boadu Must Do To Bring The Lost Glory Back To Hearts Of Oak

The former Medeama coach has his   reputation for maximising the potential in players could be crucial in his work with the squad which is already in place for him.

His track record of overachievement with his previous side( Medeama SC) and last season glory with Hearts of Oak will likely prove to be the most valuable quality in Boadu’s coaching,  in getting the best out of the current Hearts side and guiding them back to win the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup again with Hearts Of Oak .

Here is a list of issues which Samuel Boadu must confront and resolve this summer to ensure a stronger challenge from his  side on all fronts in the league.

Establish Leaders

To ensure that this awareness and discipline is maintained on the pitch during the big games, Hearts require leaders to put this approach into practice again as they did last season. If one player is caught unaware and out of position, there must be another nearby ready to shout, give instructions and pull his side back into shape.

Boadu can only direct so much from the touchline and players like Salifu Ibrahim must step up to help lead from the engine room.

Fatawu Mohammed is known to be vocal on the pitch, and must assume greater leadership and responsibility in ensuring that the defence remains tight a unit.

Field Players In Their Best Positions

There are many reasons why Hearts won the league last season.
Someone like Coach Papic and Odoom abysmal performance didn’t help the club and many strange tactical decisions that suggest they were out of ideas, but chief among them was their odd team selections.

This first point should be easy enough to fix:

Boadu must avoid the pitfall of putting square pegs in round holes, and no more shoving as many forwards onto the pitch as possible.

Hearts need basic organisation and a clear strategy again , something that Boadu will surely work towards. Last season glory with Hearts of Oak wasn’t achieve in a silver platter, They were consistent in playing short-passing aesthetic football.

Preach patience To The Supporters

The majority shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede has thrown money at the problem with a petulance and impatience reflecting the club’s disbelief at its own ‘giant’ status but last season was a lucky year for the great club.

The supporters of the club should be calm with the team.Last season their arc rivals led them with seven points but they came back stronger to win the league.

The Hearts fans and board need to give Samuel Boadu time to again because he has done it before the club organically. As head coach, Boadu’s  must calm down and ensure can do spirit .

Old Players Should Meet The Current Hearts Team

Samuel Boadu must allow old players to meet the current Hearts players in other for them to know the club they are playing. The old players can boast of continental trophies and why they should play with their Heart out.

Get Video Analyst

The question is Hearts of Oak as club have video analyst .if yes what has he done to help Boadu and his team after Wydad Athletic Club game Boadu came out to say he has learnt his mistake and prior to JS Saoura game we all know Boadu will murder the Algerian on the field of play but it turned out to be another story.
