Dreams FC qualifies for the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup

Dreams FC has  become the first Ghanaian team to advance to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage since  Asante Kotoko completed that feat  four years ago.

Since their 2019 campaign, during which they traded blows with Al Hilal Omdurman, Zesco FC, and Nkana FC, Asante Kotoko has achieved the feat of making it to the group stage.

The Still Believe men, who were competing in the competition for the first time, put on a fantastic performance in their preliminary matches and eventually made it to the group stage.

After winning the Ghana FA Cup the year before, they began their season with a match against Milo FC of Guinea. Abdul Karim Zito’s group won 2-1 after a 1-1 draw in the first half.
