The prestigious referee Daniel Nii Laryea has qualified for the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup final, which will take place in Indonesia from November 10 to December 2, 2023.
In recent times, Daniel Laryea has proven to be one of Ghana’s best referees.
His impressive performance in our league has earned him numerous chances to officiate in African football competitions.
Laryea worked as a video assistant referee at the 2022 CHAN competition in Algeria, where he was chosen to officiate the championship game between the host country Algeria and Senegal on February 4, 2023, at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers.
He’s one of the 11 Africans who have made it to the final list of referees for this famous youth football competition, Laryea is the only match official from Ghana.
Laryea, who is 34 years old, has vast experience in officiating, having presided over important continental games in the Confederations Cup and CAF Champions League.
