Black Satellites continues preparations ahead of U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations

The Black Satellites beat Nsuopon Fidelity Soccer Academy 8-0 in a friendly encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium. The team led by Ex Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu went on a scoring spree netting four goals in the first 45 minutes.

Ibrahim Mohammed of Nsoatreman scored twice, whilst Bechem United’s Aaron Essel and Abdul Aziz Musibau of Still Believe FC scored the other two  goals.

In the second half, two goals from Clinton Doudo of Ghana Premier League side Bechem United as well as, Kelvin Nkrumah of fellow Premier League club Medeama and Emmanuel Mensah of Koforidua Semper scored the other goals to wrap up the emphatic victory.

The friendly game forms part of preparations for the Male U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations to be played in Côte d’Ivoire from Friday, July 7 to Friday, June 21, 2023.

The Black Satellites are drawn in Group A alongside host nation Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Niger. Group B is made up of Nigeria, Togo, and Burkina Faso.
