Black Queens to play Chile today in their opening fixture of the Turkish Women’s Cup

The Ghana Female Senior National team will face Chile today as they make their debut in the Turkish Women’s Cup Competition which takes off today Wednesday March 4.

Black Queens team shares a group with their African counterparts Kenya and with Chile and Northern Ireland B completing the Group B.

Ghana’s First game in the 8-nation invitational tournament will commence at the Starlight Sports Complex against Chile.

The penultimate group fixture will be played against against Northern Ireland B team on the 7th March with the last group fixture scheduled to be played on March 10.

After arriving in the Turkish City of Alanya last weekend,the ladies have been making the necessary preparations to get themselves into shape before the tournament kicks off.

The Black Queens Coach Tagoe-Quarcoo said; “So far everything is going on well here. We have been training here [Turkey] and everything looks well.”
“The players are responding positively to the training and I think we will do well in this competition. ”

Kickoff for the Chile game is at 16:00 local time.

March 7: Northern Ireland B vs Ghana – 18:00 – Gold City Sport Complex
