Black Princesses squad for WAFU Women U-20 Championship unveiled

Black Princesses gaffer, Yussif Basigi has finally released his final 20-man squad for the maiden edition of the WAFU Women U-20 Championship.

The squad comprise of three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders and six forwards. Players to watch out for in the list include Faiza Seidu, goalie Deborah Brown, Stella Nyamekye, Mary Amponsah, Hasaacas Ladies Success Ameyaa and more.

The Ghana female U-20 national team engaged in a friendly test last Wednesday morning where they mesmerized Niger by an emphatic 11 goals at Ohene Gyan Stadium to show signs of steady rise in their preparations.
The Black Princesses are in Group A alongside Benin and Burkina Faso and will face the former in their opening fixture of the competition on Saturday, May 20, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Also, Berry Ladies CEO, Gifty Oware-Mensah has presented essential items to the Black Princesses ahead of their participation in the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations in Kumasi. She presented the items to the team after their pre-tournament international friendly against Niger at the Accra Sports stadium on Wednesday.
The Black Princesses are in Group A alongside Benin and Cote D’Ivoire. The team will kick start their campaign against Benin on Saturday, May 20, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
