Baba Yahaya expressed his dissatisfaction at the team’s inability to record their first victory of the year.

After Sunday night’s 1-1 draw with Karela United, Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya expressed his dissatisfaction at the team’s inability to record their first victory of the year.

In their first three games of the season, the Porcupine Warriors had two draws and one loss after being held to a 1-1 tie at home by Karela United.

Evans Adomako, a former Asante Kotoko player, shocked the defending Ghana Premier League winners with an early goal in the ninth minute by outpacing two defenders and putting the ball past Kotoko custodian Danlad Ibrahim.

Through Baba Yahaya, Asante Kotoko was able to tie the score in the extra period.

Yahaya who as adjudged the MVP said in a post-match interview with StarTimes,

“We gave it our all, but unfortunately, our best wasn’t enough. We’re determined to improve and perform better in our upcoming matches.”

He also added they are not feeling pressured because their coach has always emphasized they’re rebuilding the team.
