Kumasi Asante has today sacked head coach Maxwell Konadu following yesterday’s one-nil defeat to Freat Olympics.
Assistant coach Johnson Smith has been confirmed to lead the club on the interim as he hopes to turn things around.

Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club wishes to inform the general public that it has decided to part ways with Coach Maxwell Konadu as its Head Coach with immediate effect.
Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed to lead the team in the interim.” The club tweeted.
Smith’s first game will be on the road to Dreams FC on Sunday with the club seeking their second win of the season.
