Goalkeeper Emmanuel Osei Kwame who suffered a career-threatening knee injury has finally been discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kotoko confirmed.
Osei Kwame spent almost six hours and thirty minutes under the knife as the Head of Trauma and Orthopaedic Directorate at KATH, Dr. Konadu Yeboah corrected his anterior crucial ligament tear in his right foot.
“Following a successful operation at KATH on Wednesday, goalie Emmanuel Osei Kwame has now been discharged and will continue his rehabilitation under the care of Dr. Konadu Yeboah (pictured 1st from right) and our medical team.” Asante Kotoko tweeted.

Osei Kwame will be hoping to start his rehab in time to be fit for the next Ghana Premier League season.
