ASANTE KOTOKO DUO GETS NATIONAL TEAM CALL-UPS

Kumasi Asante kotoko two young players have been called upon on national duties.

Asante kotoko duo, Clinton Opoku and Augustine Agyapong have been invited to the U-20 national team . The duo are yet to feature officially in a game for the porcupines despite trooping in some of the Matchday squad.

Speak to the club website, 17 year old Augustine Agyapong who joined the porcupines on a 4 year contract stated that,

“To be called upon the U-20 means that,I am on the right path and that path means that,I have to keep improving at the club level”. He concluded. This happen to be the second call up for Augustine Agyapong.

On the hand, Clinton Opoku gets his maiden call-up to the national U-20 team. The young attacker couldn’t hide his feelings when speaking with the club official website.

“It is one thing to receive a call up and another to keep yourself up there”.

“Having had the calm up,the next step is to work extra hard to remain there”. He concluded.

Clinton Opoku joined Kumasi Asante kotoko this season from phar rangers after penning down a 4 Year contract.
