An unnamed Asante Kotoko fan was arrested on Sunday for wearing a fake Errea replica jersey of the club at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to sports journalist Ohene Bampoe Brenya, the victim is currently assisting the Police in the investigation as several arrests like to occur.
The original replica is yet to hit the Ghanaian market as the club is not making any sale of the jersey as of now.
Errea became the official kit sponsors of Asante Kotoko at the start of this season taking over from strike, their previous sponsors.
Kotoko failed to go top of the table following a defeat against Aduana Stars on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium which leaves them 5th on the league log.
