Accra Hearts of Oak Board Engages Stakeholders in Key Meeting

The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak recently convened a significant gathering with key stakeholders of the renowned football club. The purpose of the meeting was to provide the stakeholders with comprehensive updates on the club’s ongoing activities.

Led by Togbe Afede XIV, the Executive Board Chairman, and joined by other prominent Board members, including Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, the session covered a range of crucial topics. These included insights into the club’s strategic direction, player recruitment, developments at the Pobiman Sports Academy, progress on the new office building known as “Phobia House,” updates on the technical team, and the status of various club affiliates such as Auroras, Royal Oaks, and Oaks FC.

Central to the discussions was the call for unity among stakeholders, urging them to rally behind the board’s initiatives. These initiatives were highlighted as instrumental in propelling the club to victory both domestically and on the continental stage. The board emphasized that such endeavors would ultimately lead to the club’s prominence.

The board members also issued a plea for stakeholders to refrain from spreading negative information about the club, with the aim of preserving the esteemed reputation and brand of Hearts of Oak.

During the interactive session, stakeholders were granted the opportunity to share their thoughts and seek clarifications on matters of concern within the club. Esteemed figures such as former CEO Nii Ayibonte, NCC Chairman Elvis Herman Hesse, and AHOOOPA Chairman Evans Ayeequye, each took turns expressing their gratitude to the board for facilitating this dialogue. They lauded the board’s efforts to unite all “Phobians” (Hearts of Oak supporters) and promote collaborative efforts towards the club’s betterment, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming football season.

Notably, Elvis Herman Hesse, speaking on behalf of all Phobians, extended sincere appreciation to the board. He pledged the unwavering support of the Phobians, affirming their commitment to working collectively in support of the club’s endeavors, rather than opposing them.

“We are immensely thankful for the opportunity to engage directly with the board and receive timely updates about the club. We pledge our wholehearted support to the board’s initiatives, working together to achieve our shared goals for the club’s benefit,” expressed Hesse.

The meeting marked a crucial step in fostering transparency and collaboration between the Hearts of Oak board and its dedicated stakeholders. As preparations for the next football season take shape, the resounding sentiment of unity and shared purpose promises to propel the club towards further success.
