Kotoko has signed an intelligent player in the shape of Richmond Lamptey : Francis Akwafo declares

Former Asante Kotoko club legend Francis Akwafo who in his playing days was affectionately called Totti has admit  the porcupines has done an excellent inclusion by the signing of Richmond Lamptey.

Akwafo, however admitted he has not watched richmond play on most occasions except for the game Inter Allies took on Accra Hearts Of Oak in the just ended Ghana premier league which he ” Lamptey” drived home that superb finish.

In view of that, Totti believes there were glimpses of intelligence in play for the newly signed Asante Kotoko player though he’s yet to watch him play more games.

The legend, affirming his claim for players he personally have watched on a couple of times and that believes are extraordinary, made mention of Richard Boadu Agardas of Medeama and that of George Asamoah the mildfield marshall of Cape Coast mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs.

Lamptey, (24) joined Inter Allies from WAFA in 2018 despite spending the greater part of the 2019 campaign on loan at Salam Zgharta Club in Lebanon.

He finished the 2020/21 season with Allies as he scored 3 goals as well as 2 assist with 4 MVPs in 27 matches.

He has signed three year contract with club Asante Kotoko.
