Ghana’s Deaf Women’s football team, the Diamonds, are in urgent need of GHΒ’100,000 to facilitate flight tickets for the Deaflympics football qualification in Nairobi, Kenya which is from 11th – 26th September, 2021. Victory in this tournament will book them a ticket for the 24th Summer Deaflympics in Brazil.
Despite facing severe camping challenges, Team Diamond which is made up of sixteen(16) athletes and six(6) officials have been undergoing serious training for 3months at the premises of the Bechem School for the Deaf.
They are fully prepared to victoriously face any opponent during the tournament.
