According to Lamptey, his visit to Ghana is not football related but he’s home for holidays and also works relating to his foundation .

” To be honest, i just came back for holidays. Obviously, it’s been a good but long season so i just came to get some rest and have fun. I’ve come to see some family and friends i haven’t seen in a while”, he told Joysports.

“Maybe i know (the Ghana vs Madagascar) is on Wednesday and it will be good if i have the chance to watch but not too much football ”
“I’m already enjoying it so far. It feels good to be home”.
