Asante Kotoko secures new home venue

Asante Kotoko has secured a new home venue for the rest of their home games after they had to abandon the Baba Yara Sports stadium due to renovation works.

Kumasi Asante Asante Kotoko chairman has revealed the team will be playing at the their training grounds Adako Jachie as they they will be speeding up the rest of the necessary works there.

“Yes we want to make our venue ready to host our league matches here, we are working on this, a lot is required, and our facility is even bigger than the Kumasi Sports Stadium and the Accra Sports stadium” Dr. Kwame Kyei revealed

Dr. Kwame Kyei has revealed it will take time but they will be working around the clock to make their new venue available for the league games.

“We are working around the clock to get the facility ready so we can use it for league matches, but the entire project will take time, it could go for 6 months” Dr. Kwame added

Asante Kotoko will be playing their MTN FA Cup round 64 game with Asorkwa Deportivo at the Obuasi Len Clay park this weekend according to sources.
