Asante Kotoko general manager Nana Akwesi Gyambibi has confirmed the club has chosen the Accra Sports Stadium as their new home as renovation is ongoing at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko general manager, Nana Akwesi Gyambibi believes their switch will be an advantage to the club as they are still in pursuit of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier league title and the FA Cup.
“The Accra Sports Stadium and our huge support base in Accra have always served us well, and it our belief that this time would be indifferent.” Nana Akwesi Gyambibi said
Asante Kotoko who are recently working on the Adako Jachie park, will be playing their round 64 of the MTN FA cup with Asokwa Deportivo at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium which they will later play the rest of the matches at the Accra Sports Stadium if they qualify to the next stage.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be sharing their newly adapted home venue with their arch rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak and other teams.
