Kotoko has officially lodged a formal complaint to GFA against the referee who officiated matchday 6 fixture between  Kotoko and Faisal.

Kotoko scored a  goal which the assistant referee claimed it was an offside. We would love him and the main referee to tell us how it was offside when the referees committee invite them.

The center referee awarded Kotoko a spot kick but later changed his mind after consulting his assistant referee and the fourth official which raised an eyebrow inside the stadium and among the technically bench.

Kotoko also scored what seemed a legitimate goal which was wrongly disallowed by the assistant referee.

The Porcupine Warriors lost their first game of the season in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League at home to King Faisal. The match ended 3-2 in favour King Faisal.
