It won’t be possible for me to be CEO of Sekondi Eleven Wise – Hon. Mercer

Member of parliament for Sekondi Hon. Andrews Egyapa Mercer has said it won’t be possible for him to become the CEO of second division side Sekondi Eleven Wise Football Club because of his role as a full-time member of parliament.

Hon. Andrew Egyapa Mercer made this revelation during an interview with Solomon Amankwa on Sekunde Sports on Sekondi/Takoradi based radio station Kyzz 89.7.

He said it will be difficult for him to be a full-time member of parliament and at the same time a CEO of Sekondi Eleven Wise.

” I am not sure it will be possible for me to be a full-time chief executive of Sekondi Eleven Wise. Even though it has come up, it’s not something that my present position as a full-time member of parliament that I can also be a fulltime chief executive of Sekondi Eleven Wise.”

He also added even though he can’t be part of the management of Sekondi Eleven Wise, the club is dear to him and will always be happy to assist them in anything.

“The progress of Sekondi Eleven Wise is something that is dear to my heart. So whatever support I can offer even though am not part of the management, I will always be happy to support.”
