Western regional FA closes it’s office due to covid-19 fears

The western regional football association has closed it secretariat until further notice as part of precautionary measures against covid 19(corona virus).

The decision was taken by the western regional football association in line with their parent association Ghana football association as a measure in preventing the spread of covid-19 (corona virus).

The western football association followed it up with a release stating:

” The Western Regional Football Association has closed its secretariat until further notice as part of measures deployed by the GFA in line with precautions against the Coronavirus outbreak.

All Clubs and constituent bodies are to communicate via email or mobile with the Secretariat until the office reopen.

Meanwhile, the FIFA Connect System shall remains active for the Second Window Registration for all clubs.

The WRFA shall communicate with its stakeholders in due time regarding any subsequent measures from the headquarters.

All regional clubs are thereby advised to desist from training activities with immediate effect and fully respect the directive from H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo–Addo.
