The western basketball association, has halted all of it’s basketball related activities as part of precautionary measures against the corona virus.
The association who is adhering to the protocol of the president of Ghana in their statement, stated:
The Western Basketball Association (WBA) board chairman announces that the association will be suspending basketball operations until further notice as a result of concerns regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) which was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization.
Western Basketball Association is committed to the health and safety of our players, officials, fans, executives and general public. The association will continue to closely monitor the latest updates from public health agencies daily and assess the situation accordingly.
