West Ham will not fear the likes of Barcelona in Europa League – David Moyes

The Hammers topped their group despite losing 1:0 to Dinamo Zagreb at Olympic Stadium on Thursday night.

According to David Moyes,  West Harm will not fear the likes of Barcelona in the Europa League after advancing to the next stage of the competition.

West Ham is through to the last 16 as Group H winners despite losing at home to Zagreb.

“We’ve got a lot of big teams to play but I think we’re a big team at the moment,” said Moyes.

“A lot of teams will be worried about playing us. We hope we’re in good shape and in good form when those games come around.

“Look, the names in the competition make it difficult. The teams who dropdown (from the Champions League) tend to be the teams who get to the final.

“But if we can take on the Champions League finalists and the Champions League winners in recent weeks, I think we’ll give them a good game.”

Barcelona is now in the Europa League for the first time after failing to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
