Well sourced Saudi’ host ‘denies’ stories Saudi efforts to buy Chelsea

It’s been an absolute rollercoaster around Chelsea Football Club this last week and we never seem to know whether we are coming or going.

We are still currently no clearer to exactly what is around the corner and who will be the next owners of the club, but we are continuing to see varied rumours on who is interested and who might be making a bid.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

The Saudi Media group have reportedly been interested, with Goal running a story yesterday claiming that they were going to make an offer as well as detailed plans about what they would want to do at the club, including a stadium rebuild and contract extension for Antonio Rudiger. It was hugely detailed.

An exclusive look at the Saudi Media takeover bid for Chelsea.

They are a lucrative private company and consortium led by Mohamed Alkhereiji. They are in no way linked to Newcastle or owner PIF and have big plans for the club: https://t.co/wsI2kxRjUA #CFC

However, according to the tweet below from Khalid Aljabri, a well-sourced Saudi football talk show host has claimed that the story is incorrect.

Well sourced Saudi football talk show host @waleedalfarraj denies @NizaarKinsella’s @goal story on a bid led by Saudi businessman @malkhereiji to buy Chelsea, or the background involvement of MBS confidant @Turki_alalshikh, owner of Spanish side Almeria, in any takeover bids. https://t.co/4LOgc8C6ax
