We need to create a stronger squad to face Uruguay – Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu

Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes the Black Stars have to present a good squad to face their world cup group, stage opponent.

The Black stars were placed in the group as they will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“We entered a difficult group,” Badu said.

“We need to create a stronger squad to face Uruguay. Korea has a lot of good players, we can control them.

“Even with players that cannot be ignored, such as Heung-Min Son, it is an atmosphere worth trying.”

“Uruguay is a very strong team. They have succeeded in rebounding with their new manager (Diego Alonso). If we don’t prepare well for Uruguay, it can be difficult.

“Portugal had a hard time passing through the qualifiers, but players such as Joao Cancelo, Hubeng Dias, Joao Felix, Bruno Fernandes, Pepe, Diogo Jota, and Cristiano Ronaldo fill the squad,” he added.
