We need Kwesi Appiah for the Nigeria game – Kotoko legend Samuel Opoku Nti

Former Ghana international Samuel Opoku Nti has called for the appointment of former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah to take over the Blacks Stars job ahead of their playoff game against Nigeria in March.

According to the former Asante Kotoko CEO, James Kwesi Appiah with his experience and knowledge about the current team will be the best candidate for the Black Stars job as the World Cup qualifiers approaches.

“We need to bring Kwesi Appiah back because he has a rich history with the national team”, he told Happy FM.

“We need Kwesi Appiah for the Nigeria game after that we open in for applications”, he added.

The Ghana Football Association has been looking to appoint an interim coach to take over the job of the black stars after sacking Milovan Rajevac on Wednesday due to poor display in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cameroon which lead to black stars Exit from the competition.
