We can not afford to fail Ghanaians – Elvis Hesse Herman

Chairman for the national chapters committee of Accra Hearts Of Oak, mr Elvis Hesse Herman says the Phobians can not afford to fail Ghanaians for the second time running in view of their crucial Caf confederation cup second leg with Algerian outfit JS Saoura.

Making his assertion about the pending encounter with Saoura on saturday afternoon on Joy FM’s sports arena, mr Hesse claimed, as it did happened when the rainbow colors took on Wac back in Morroco couple of weeks ago where they suffered a shocking 6-1 defeat, is not to happen this time around.

“No matter the outcome, I àm very optimistic that we are going to qualify ahead of Js Saoura”. He said

“Although the Algerians are quite good an opponent, but not as good as the Wydad Club Athletic one, so then with everything learnt so far, we can not afford to fail Ghanaians from Algeria”.

Hearts Of Oak goes into the game with a 2-0 advantage from the Accra sports stadium last weekend where goals from Salifu Ibrahim and Isaac Agyenim Boateng ensured the Algerians went back home empty handed.

The Phobians, understands after a long trip, are in Bechar where the game is said to take place and will be training on the match venue tonight if all things being equal.

The match is scheduled to kickstart on sunday December 5, 2021 at the stade de 20 Aout 1955 stadium in Algeria having kick-off time to be 4:45 pm Ghana time.
