Black Princesses inched closer to securing a ticket to the U-20 Women’s World Cup with an impressive 3-0 win over Ethiopia in the first leg of the last round of qualifiers.

Ben Forkuo’s ladies had the perfect start to the game in Addis Ababa when Salamatu Abdulai broke the deadlock for Ghana with a lovely goal on the 29th minute.

Salamatu doubled her tally, scoring Ghana’s second with a lovely run before beating the goalkeeper to extend the lead before half-time.

Cecilia Nyama made it three with a minute to half-time to give Ghana a resounding lead at the break.

More chances followed for the Black Princesses of Ghana, but failed to add to the goal tally as the game ended 3-0 in Addis Ababa.
